Our Team

Miracle at KSU has always placed a huge emphasis on being a family. As a family it is important that you know why we do what we do. Our 'why' is our everything. It's what keeps each member of this organization going when the road gets long and our goals seem so far out of reach. Get to know us by getting to know our 'why's.

Baylee mitchell | Executive Director

I raise money and awareness for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, because they continue to perform countless miracles every day. I dance for all our Miracle Families, but specifically for Kellan Miller and Ricky James who have such a special place in my heart!

Maddie Langley

My why this year is Michael Henderson. I fight for kids like him who literally have fought for their lives since birth. I dance so that these kids can become teachers and doctors and world changers. I dance so that one day these fighters can make an impact on others and have a bright future.

Katherine Jorgensen

The families, nurses, and hospitals are able to remain positive and thankful despite all hardships thrown their way. Having the opportunity to partake, whether that be through raising funds and awareness or hanging out with our amazing miracle families, does not compare to anything. This organization and our families have shown me a passion I never thought possible.

Erin Loggins

I dance for the hope of our future generations. I dance for the students that will one day fill my classroom. I dance for every family that has walked into Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. I dance to make a difference in this world.

Hannah Ingalls

My why is for the sweet James family. No matter how many times i hear their story it still gets right to my heart. I knew i had to be a part of something so great and wanted to do something selfless to help others out. So what better way to do that than to raise money for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Miracle at KSU has forever changed my life, given me a second family, and i'm so grateful to be a part of something so amazing.

allison conway

I dance to give hope and support to all of the parents and families at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and other hospitals. I support Children's so Miracle at Kennesaw State can show others in our community what is means to have hope and to never give up. I dance so one day, the children who are in the hospital now can enroll in college and dance to help the next generation.

Corey Heyward

I joined Miracle, because I wanted to be apart of something bigger than myself. This organization allows me to bring joy to others, and bring light to everyone I meet.

Sydney Crisp
dance marathon

My why is many things. Coming to college I didn’t really know exactly what children’s did for people. During freshman year I met my best friend Emma who’s little sister was treated at children’s. Coming to be he’s friends with Emma I saw how much children’s had a effect on her sister and her family. I have always loved children and being a future educator it is amazing to know there’s is a place like CHOA that can help my future students who need medial help. This past year has shown me how amazing children’s is and what all they do for people and I love helping amazing organizations like them.

Belle jones

I dance because Miracle filled a piece of myself that I never knew was missing. I dance for the families that call that hospital home, for the kids that are fighting for their lives, for the kids that lost the battle, and I dance to instill my same passion in others.

Emma Glenn
Family Relations

My why is for every single child who has been or will be treated at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Cancer as well as their parents and siblings. CHOA has always had a tremendous impact on my family and I when my sister was treated for two different types of cancer. I am forever so grateful for what they continue to do for each family who will enter their doors

Emily Fredrick
Mini Marathon

I dance for the kids who can't, and to spread awareness to my community that there are kids who need our help and they are so worth it.

Brynn Powers
Mini Marathon

My why is for all of the children and families will need CHOA's help in the future, knowing that the money we are fundraising for today will make the care they need available tomorrow. Knowing that we are able to make an impact and help change the outcome for some .

Ayden Fernandez
Mini Marathon

CHOA has helped me and my family so much over the years and it's time for me to do something in return. I also am an education major so I will have a classroom of my own one day. I will be teaching kids for the rest of my life and I want to teach kids who are loved and cared for just like CHOA was to my sister and I every time we had to visit CHOA with an injury. I know that some of my kids will most likely have to visit CHOA one day so I am doing this for them. I am doing this for my future classrooms.

Courtney Kendrick
Hospital Relations

My why is for my cousin Jessica and all the other kids called home.

Josie Major
community outreach

I have always had a heart for kids because everyone deserves happiness and a chance to live the fullest life. I am FTK to try to make a difference in the lives of children who need it most, but also to make a difference in something I am so proud to be a part of. Miracle at KSU and the kids have changed my life, and I am forever grateful for being a part of something so much bigger than myself.

Hyapatia DelRosario

I'm FTK to be that cheerleader every child needs when they wake up in the morning and they feel like that can't do it. I dance for those who want to get up and shake it out. I want to be apart of a driving force to make every child healthy and live the ultimate life they deserve!

Tula Blue Waldrep

I am for the kids because I believe that every child no matter their background, financial means, or relationship with their family deserve access to amazing healthcare. Children are some of the most vulnerable members of our society, and Miracle gives me a platform to advocate for those who can’t advocate for themselves.

Max Wrba

I’ve always known others who did miracle, including my brother who was on the Exec. Board at UGA with miracle. I finally decided to sign up last minute for the dance marathon my junior year. After seeing the tremendous impact that DM had, and meeting all the wonderful kids who fight every day for a healthy life, I realized this is an organization that I needed to be more involved in. I’m so honored I get to be a part of positive change for others, and hopefully have the chance to grow the impact that Miracle has at KSU.

Dylan Payne

Being apart of something bettering others is a goal everyone in the world should have. Can’t wait to see these kiddos smile!

Anne Treanor

My why is for Michael Henderson. He’s shown me time and time again that sometimes the tiniest warriors are given the biggest battles, but they still fight with everything they’ve got!

Alexis Conway

My why is for my family and all of the wonderful miracle families at CHOA. I am a triplet and without the amazing hospital that treated us we would not be as healthy as we are today. I want to do everything I can to help other kids have a healthy and happy childhood.
