Miracle at KSU fundraises for the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders center at Children’s Hospital of Atlanta.
During our Further Together Push, Miracle at KSU comes together to change kids’ health and to change the future for kids treated at Children’s Hospital of Atlanta, a hospital of CMNH.
In honor of the kiddos being treated in the hospital fighting cancer and various blood disorders and all the miracles that we can make happen together, on November 1, we challenge each participant to raise $84 in honor of the 84 blood and bone marrow transplants at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center in 2022!
Throughout the day we will have 2 fundraising hours and graphics to help you.
From 12pm-1pm, we are challenging participants to raise $20.89 for the 2,089 patients enrolled in clinical studies at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in 2022.
From 6pm-7pm, we are challenging participants to raise $19 for the 19 story Arthur M. Blank Hospital set to open in Fall 2024 that will help us improve access to specialized pediatric care for kids throughout Georgia and beyond.
WAYS TO RAISE $84:
*some of these tips are going to add up to more than $84 to account for when people do not donate.
Facebook Message 3 people and ask for a $25 donation, Venmo request 15 people and ask for a $5 donation, or email 3 of your professors and ask them for a $25 donation.
Send an email to all of your previous donors in Donor Drive (go to the messages setting in your Donor Drive account to draft a message and see previous donor emails).
Ask your family, friends, or parents if their corporation has a matching contribution program (a $50 donation could be matched to raise $100).
Ask 15 friends to donate $5 each.
Go canning outside a local store or at a popular street (always ask the store first).
Clean out your closet, take the clothes to a resale shop like Plato’s Closet or Uptown Cheapskate, and donate the money to your Donor Drive.
Host a giveaway on your social media & have people enter to win by donating (gift card, t-shirt, embarrassing photos, etc.)
Post a debate to your social media & have people vote by donating (ex: pickles on CFA sandwiches?)
